1853 Proceedings: Whereas a Dispensation was issued by the Most Wor. Grand Master, to authorise the opening a Lodge in the city of Alexandria, by the name of Andrew Jackson Lodge, No. ---, appointing S. King Shay as Master, E. Sangster as Senior Warden, and John T. Johnson as Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned with the necessary documents:
Resolved, That the Dispensation granted to Andrew Jackson Lodge be continued until the next Annual Communication.
