- Confirmed chartered on 12/10/1850. Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master to authorise the opening a Lodge at Berlin, in the County of Southampton, by the name of Berlin Lodge, appointing Wor. Thomas J. Drumwright, Master; Samuel Kello, Senior Warden and Giles S. Whitney, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned together with the necessary documents; Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title, and designation of Berlin Lodge, No. 42, appointing the Officers named in the said Dispensation.
