Confirmed chartered as "Blue Ridge Lodge, No. 71" on 01/20/1852 in District 14. Need to figure out why all the Blue Ridge Lodges.
Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. Wor. Grand Master, to authorise the opening a Lodge at Piedmont, in the county of Albemarle, by the name of Blue Ridge Lodge No. ---, appointing Wor. L. W. Maupin, Master; M. LL. Anderson, Senior Warden, and S. R. Slack, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned together with the necessary documents.
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title, and designation of Blue Ridge Lodge, No. 71, and appointing the Officers named.
