- Confirmed chartered on 12/11/1849. Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title, and designation of Central Lodge, No. 38, and appointing the Officers named, when they shall return to the Grand Secretary the necessary documents and recommendation of the Lodge nearest their proposed locality. Resolved, That all the Subordinate Lodges under this jurisdiction be required to revise their By-Laws, and to transmit a copy of them where revised to the Grand Secretary, who shall examine the same, and should he discover any discrepancy or departure from the Constitution and permanent regulations of the Grand Lodge, he shall notify the Lodge of the fact, in order that the necessary correction may be made.
