Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master to authorise the opening a Lodge at Bunker Hill, in the County of Berkley, by the name of Excelsior Lodge, appointing Wor. Lewis Fry, Master, Joel W. Roberts, Senior Warden and Richard D. Leaman, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned together with the necessary documents;
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title, and designation of Excelsior Lodge, No. 54, and appointing the Officers named in the Dispensation.
