Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. Wor. Grand Master, to authorise the opening a Lodge at Fincastle, in the county of Botetourt, by the name of Friendship Lodge No. ---, appointing Wor. James Mc-Elroy, Master; Curtis L. Alderson, Senior Warden, and Charles A. Francis, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned together with the necessary documents.
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title, and designation of Friendship Lodge, No. 66, and appointing the Officers named.
