Grand Master, to authorise the opening a Lodge at Buchanan, in the county of Botetourt, by the name of James Evans Lodge No. ---, appointing Wor. Walter G. Turpin, Master; Jacob A. Haney, Senior Warden, and John A. Welch, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned together with the necessary documents. Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title, and designation of James Evans Lodge, No. 72, and appointing the Officers named.
