- Confirmed chartered on 12/12/1848. There is some confusion whether it is "Harmony Lodge" or "Lafatette Lodge". Whereas a dispensation was issued to authorize the opening a Lodge at Alexandria, by the name of Harmony Lodge, No. 67, and appointing Wor. John Craven, Master, Robert L. Brockett, Senior Warden, and James Grigg, Junior Warden; and said dispensation being returned, together with the necessary documents, Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title and designation of Lafayette Lodge, No. 67, appointing the officers named in the dispensation, upon the payment of the usual fees.
