Confirmed chartered as "Piedmont Lodge" on 12/10/1850. Assigned to District 16 in 1850.
Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master to authorise the opening a Lodge at Stanardsville, in the County of Greene, by the name of Piedmont Lodge, and appointing Wor. Robert H. Poore, Master; Oliver Finks, Senior Warden and James M. Word, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned together with the necessary documents;
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title, and designation of "Piedmont Lodge, No. 50", appointing the Officers named.
