A petition was received from sundry Brethren residing in the county of Roanoke, praying for a Charter to open and hold a Lodge at Big Lick, by the name of Taylor Lodge, and nominating Wor. Henry Hall, Master; John A. Langhorne, Senior Warden, and J. A. E. Winkler, Junior Warden, accompanied with satisfactory recommendations;
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title, and designation of Taylor Lodge, No. 23, and appointing the officers named in the petition.
