- Confirmed chartered on 12/11/1849. Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master, to authorise the opening a Lodge at Weston, Lewis county, by the name of Weston Lodge, appointing John Morrow, Master; Samuel D. Tompkins, Senior Warden, and Weedon Hoffman, Junior Warden; and said dis-pensation being returned, together with the necessary documents; Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title, and designation of Weston Lodge, No. 26, and appointing the officers named in the dispensation, upon the payment of the usual fees, when they shall furnish the recommendation of the Lodge nearest their proposed locality.
