Virginia Research Lodge No. 1777 welcomes Bro. Brendan Kyne, whose topic is "Freemasonry in the Colony of Victoria in the 1800s".
The Lecture will present an overview of the development of Freemasonry in Australia (Colony of NSW), and more specifically the Colony of Victoria, from the perspective of the more unusual and quirky events. Hopefully an engaging, entertaining and educational presentation that through the lens of those instances and events that show the human foibles of Freemasons in the 1800s, we will find a group of English Masonic chaps behaving badly.
